About Homeschool Activity Hub

Homeschool Activity Hub exists because finding good activity kits and curriculum resources is hard. There are hundreds of options. Most review sites just list whatever pays the highest commission. We try to do better.

Our reviews focus on what homeschool parents actually care about: age-appropriate content, learning style fit, real cost per month, and whether the materials hold a child's attention past week two.

We test products with real families when possible. When we can't, we aggregate community feedback from homeschool forums, Facebook groups, and curriculum fairs.

Why we started this

There is no shortage of homeschool curriculum content on the web. Pick a math program, a writing program, a science program, and you can read 10,000 reviews before lunch. What there is not enough of? Real, parent-tested help with the daily problem of “we finished our work — now what?”

Most homeschool families spend two to four hours a day on core subjects. The other six waking hours are the lived part of homeschool. They are when kids build, paint, mix, ask why, and try again. The kit you grab. The library trip you take. The walk you turn into a science lesson. Those choices matter as much as the curriculum.

Homeschoolactivityhub is for the activity side of homeschool. We test kits at retail (we buy them — no free samples). We read curriculum reviews so you do not have to. We share what worked in our own home, and what did not.

How we review products

We hands-test every kit we recommend. We buy at retail. We do not accept free samples in exchange for coverage. We do not write sponsored posts dressed as reviews.

When a kit makes our top picks list, that means at least one of our own homeschool kids has used it for a full month. When a kit gets cut, we say why. We update our top picks twice a year, in spring and fall, because the market shifts.

Our affiliate links earn us a small commission if you buy after clicking. That commission does not change which kits we name.
